An
Inventory designed to
assess personality functioning
The Singer Loomis Type
Deployment Inventory (SL-TDI) is a fresh new approach to the Type
concepts originally developed by Carl Jung. June Singer and Mary
Loomis tested the conventional wisdom that Jung's Type Concepts
are in an either/or relationship and found that empirically this
was not the case. This experiment made it clear that a new approach
to Personality Type was called for. The SL-TDI is the result. It
completely eliminates the old forced-choice structure and uses a
psychological scale. Being much more sensitive to how much a Type
capacity is used, the SL-TDI provides far more individualized results,
literally hundreds of thousands more, than the conventional 16 personality
types many people are familiar with. Moving Boundaries provides
the stewardship for the SL-TDI, keeping it fresh, psychometrically
sound and user friendly. Go to History of
the SL-TDI for more details and to About
Us for more information about Moving Boundaries, inc.
